Our virtual networking meetings have a relaxed atmosphere where members and non-members can meet online. Our monthly workshops feature interactive presentations about business issues relevant to consultants and solo professionals. We also have monthly members-only networking meetings where the group focuses on helping our members with referrals and answering their business questions. You can view our meeting schedule to register for meetings and workshops. Members have free access to our workshops and workshop video archive.
Members have individual profile pages in the member directory on the SPC website. They can update their SPC member profile information at any time, including speaking topics and categories in which they wish to be included for possible referrals.
SPC members are entitled to free consultations and discounted rates offered by other SPC members. The exchange is an opportunity to promote your business within the SPC. The exchange is in our Members Only section and is not viewable by the public.
SPC members have access to Treble, a national business networking platform. Treble makes it easy to connect with other members of the SPC community while building a strong network across the entire Treble platform. We include a Treble premium subscription (valued at $29.99 a month) as part of your SPC membership.
When you first join the as a regular member SPC, you can take advantage of three mentoring sessions with a seasoned consultant. Associate members receive one mentoring session.
This mentoring is available exclusively during the first six months of membership. We believe that early in your consulting career is the best time for this mentoring to be of greatest value. As a result, we want to encourage you to use this resource early on. After six months or three sessions, whichever comes first, the formal mentoring ends.
The SPC provides a free consultant referral service for the business community. Only current SPC members participate in the referral service. Companies may search the SPC member database and/or contact SPC directly for information and referrals.
Note: There is no charge for either the prospective client or the member consultant for the referral service. It is the responsibility of the prospective client and the consultant to contractually formalize a service relationship.
Members receive discounts on SPC meetings, workshops and seminars. Our members also are eligible for discounts from our partner organizations.
Our e-mail newsletter goes out to a list of around 500 people. "Consultants Communicate" includes news about our fellow members, SPC program and meeting notices, and items of interest to consultants. Members are encouraged to submit articles and other information for the newsletter.
Members are invited to join the Society of Professional Consultants members-only group on LinkedIn. Joining allows them to find and contact other SPC members on LinkedIn.
