Networking, Mentoring, and Education for Consultants and Solo Professionals
Tech Toys to Make You More Efficient and Work More Fun
Summer is finally here and, for the Society of Professional Consultants, that means gearing up for our annual barbecue and panel discussion. This August, we plan to go back to a topic that we’ve done before, but that always captures attention: tech toys.
One of the challenges that consultants and solo professionals face is the need to be their own IT departments. It can be hard enough to keep up with necessary hardware and software updates for the technology you’re already using. It can be even harder to keep an eye peeled for the next new thing.
But SPC is here to help. Our panel, moderated by Steve Balzac, the Society’s immediate past president, will include Bob Goodearl of RGood Software Inc., and Rick Pollak, The Presentation Medic, Martin Kadansky of Kadansky Consulting and Ray Cardello. They will present a selection of new (or maybe new-to-you) devices, accessories, programs, and apps that can help you work more efficiently, and make work more fun.
We expect this session to be even more interactive than usual. If you’ve got a favorite gadget or program that’s made a big difference in your work life, come prepared to share.
So pack up your kit and join us! Dress for this event will be casual, and weather permitting, we’ll be outdoors.
