Test Your Ethical Skills

Speaker: Mary Adams

Mary AdamsMany people assume that ethics are a black and white issue, that there is one right answer in any situation. Reality is rarely that simple. Ethics are one of the key drivers of reputation. A serious professional consultant wants to stand out in a market crowded with folks that hang out a shingle between jobs. Being able to talk about and practice ethical standards distinguishes the serious consultant and will his or her ability to build enduring businesses.

Using a case study developed by the Institute of Management Consultants, Mary Adams will explore with you the underlying principles of ethics in consulting and how to apply them in a real-life situation.

  • You will come away with a new appreciation of the importance of ethics in your everyday work and how to ensure that you maintain the highest ethical standards.
  • You will explore what it means to be an ethical consultant and gain a method that will allow you to evaluate alternatives in challenging ethical situations.
  • This is a case study discussion—it’s all interactive.
